Travis West got his first spanking for jumping a ramp when he was just six years old. That passion for riding on two wheels still exists - although, it's a lot harder to do with a toddler in the picture. Travis raced mountain bikes competitively for four years after high school, while living in Florida.  He dabbled a bit with racing road bikes as well.

Travis is trained from the Old'School, learning new designs as they hit the market. Being buddy-buddy as a kid with all of the local shops in his hometown of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, he was always shown the latest, most trick things to come about.

Those interests are still heavy in his heart. Specializing in all aspects of bicycle suspension, as well as all the recent advances in the modern drivetrain. He has even turned wrenches for a few professional racers as well: Jeff Hopkins (Jittery Joe's), Jessie Lawler (Jittery Joe's), Robin Farina (Vera Bradley Foundation Team), Evan Hyde (Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team), Rebecca Rusch (Specialized/Red Bull), Greg Martin, and of course, our very own Craig Evans, just to name a few! He brings the stuff learned from these riders straight back into the shop for every customer.

After spending the first half of his life in San Antonio, Texas, Dan married a Tennessee gal and moved to White House in 2005. Soon after settling into life in the small city he joined The Biker's Choice.

While in Texas, Dan discovered the thrills and challenges of riding singletrack, and quickly immersed himself in the local mountain biking scene. Today, Dan finds the greatest pleasure in riding the rural roads and area greenways of Middle Tennessee with his wife, Liesl.

In addition to cycling, Dan also enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, traveling, and maintaining a 1905 Victorian homestead.

Dan's areas of responsibility at The Biker's Choice include bicycle and accessories sales, bike assembly and repair, and fitting services. He holds certifications with Specialized Bicycles (Masters Program) and Trek Bicycles (Fit Services).

Bryan, his wife Leslie, and daughter Teagan have been a part of our community since 1997 after moving here from his home state of Wisconsin. He has become a valuable part of the local cycling community as a graduate of the United Bicycle Institute's Professional Repair and Shop Operation School, as well as  volunteering as a ride leader for the Hendersonville Fogbees cycling club and the Harpeth Bicycle Club in Nashville.

As a type 1 diabetic for over 30 years, Bryan has dedicated his life to not only improving his health, but also helping others improve their quality of life through fitness and healthy lifestyle choices.

During the spring through fall ride season, Bryan can be found leading beginner riders every week on Saturday mornings for the Fogbee cycling club. These rides are designed to improve fitness, teach safe riding techniques, and help beginners gain confidence riding on safe city and country roads in the Sumner County area. Along with these rides, he routinely puts on a social ride every Monday night called the Goodlettsville Pizza Ride that many cyclists from beginners to advanced racers join in on.

Bryan's passion for cycling and his love for our local cycling community is a great asset to the store so if any riders are looking for a group ride to join, needing a route that is scenic, or wanting advice on bikes or bike products, he is always available to help you with any questions or needs you have.

A Nashville native, Chris grew up enjoying sports ranging from running cross country to swimming on a junior national level.

His love for cycling began in the mid ‘90s, when he was first introduced to the sport. Watching cycling heroes such as Miguel Indruain and Marco Pantani, his passion grew. Chris feels equally comfortable shredding the mountain bike trails at Lock 4 and Percy Warner as well as logging in the miles winding through the countryside.

Chris brings nearly 10 years of bicycling retail experience to The Biker’s Choice, and he is one of two active bike fitters in Tennessee who holds certifications through the Serotta International Cycling Institute (S.I.C.I.). With expertise in industry product knowledge, mechanics, and bike fitting, he is more than capable of handling all of your cycling needs.
